Importing Candidates from CSV and Zip files

Before finding Recruiterbox you may have stored some of your candidate's resumes on your computer desktop and others in a spreadsheet - or maybe it was all on your desk under your coffee cup (admit it - it happens). Don't worry - we made it super easy to get these candidates into Recruiterbox.

Recently we rolled out enhancements to our single candidate upload page to allow you to take advantage of the resume parser when adding candidates in this manner.

In the past few weeks we have made more changes to the CSV (or spreadsheet) importer and Zip file (or bulk resume) importer as well.

CSV or Spreadsheet Imports

The CSV import screen has received a facelift to accommodate:

  • Drag and drop file import

  • File preview to ensure your candidate profiles will be populated properly

  • Easy access to assign an opening, labels, and/or sources to the candidates

  • Email notification when the import is complete

Zip file or bulk resume Imports

The Zip file importer received some improvements of its own, including:

  • Drag and drop file import

  • Easy access to assign an opening, label, and/or source to the candidates

P.S. When bulk importing resumes the contact information for the candidate will parse out of the imported resume and populate the candidate's profile.

Do you also have candidates in your email inbox? You can forward these into Recruiterbox in a snap! Click here to learn how.

With so many methods to import candidates, before you know it they will all be in your Recruiterbox account. Then your only trouble will be finding something else to set your coffee cup on...

Did you catch the updates to the interview feedback page? We talked about it last week!
